Leading crypto exchange BitMEX today announced its partnership with Tokeny, a provider of tokenization platforms, to support the launch of their native BMEX token. Tokeny contributed its technical know-how and advice during the development phase of the token in 2021 and is working with the BitMEX team to ensure the smooth rollout of the start phase of the token, which will take place in early 2022.
BMEX
Designed as an ERC-20 token, BMEX has a maximum offering of 450 million – many of which are used to reward new and existing BitMEX users.
The token will create an incentive to participate in the growing BitMEX ecosystem and offer token holders trade discounts, higher returns on EARN products, early access to new products, and more.
For a limited time, users will have the chance to earn as much BMEX as possible by participating in contests and giveaways. Just yesterday, the exchange activated its latest welcome offer: The first 10,000 new users who complete KYC and subscribe to EARN will receive up to 40 BMEX tokens.
“Our users always come first and we created BMEX to reward them for their loyalty. We have chosen to partner with Tokeny – one of the world’s leading companies in tokenization technology – to help us develop and issue BMEX in the most secure way possible. Tokeny has a strong track record of working with major crypto players to streamline the token issuance process and we are delighted to have you on board to help launch BMEX. “
– Alexander HÖptner, CEO of BitMEX
As of 2017, Tokeny’s solutions have helped build more than $ 28 billion in tokenized assets. Tokeny is powered by Euronext, a leading market infrastructure in Europe.
“Thanks to the clear definition of the token economy, the efficiency of the BitMEX team and our internal expertise, we tested the smart contracts and successfully implemented them in a short period of time.”
– Tokeny CEO, Luc Falempin
The BMEX token will not be withdrawn or tradable until the BitMEX cash exchange opens in the second quarter of 2022. To get BMEX tokens, read the Airdrop Terms and Conditions and learn more on the BitMEX token page.
